Asia Pacific
Praise God for the safe return of 79 Indonesian men and women who were freed from forced online scamming. After months of deception and coercion, they were welcomed home. We thank God for governments and caregivers who worked tirelessly to protect these survivors, offer them shelter and begin the process of healing. Praise God that justice, restoration and safety are taking root and join us in praying for others still at risk.
Africa & Europe
Praise God for a historic court ruling in Kenya that upheld justice for children, women and men harmed during peaceful protests over rising food taxes. We thank God for survivors once fearful and wounded now seen and compensated, and for a courageous judge and devoted advocates who pursued truth with perseverance. Praise God that this decision brings healing, restores dignity and strengthens protection for all Kenyans who gather to speak peacefully.
Latin America
Pray for 11 courageous women from Intibucá and La Paz, Honduras. Pray as they reclaim their stories in a three-day leadership training that will help them speak with purpose after surviving injustice. Ask God to build confidence and wisdom as survivor mentors from Guatemala guide them to connect personal stories to community protection and hope. Pray that God uses their unity to heal wounds, restore dignity and shape safer services and institutions for victims and families across Honduras.
South Asia
Praise God for a survivor of sex trafficking who was recently repatriated back to her family! Fahra* had been deceived by a neighbor and was sold for sex in another country. IJM worked with multiple partners and police units to trace her and rescue her in August 2024. Now that she has cleared the legal system and returned home, Fahra will receive ongoing counseling as she rebuilds life in freedom. She also wants to help IJM find and stop the neighbor who exploited her. Pray for our follow–up with local authorities, so we can protect other girls.
