Something historic just happened, friends: In a race against 17 Republican candidates to replace Marjorie Taylor Greene, our campaign finished first and forced a runoff against Donald Trump’s endorsed Republican.
Political analysts were stunned. National media started paying attention. Democrats across the country celebrated.
But now…I’m staring at our fundraising numbers and honestly… I’m confused.
Donations have slowed to a trickle. Meanwhile, Trump’s allies are already pouring money into this race to stop us before the April 7 runoff.
Did people stop paying attention? Do people think the hard part is over? Do people think someone else will step up?
Republicans are unifying behind one candidate. MAGA money is coming in fast. And if we fall behind right now, we could lose all the momentum we just built.
