We know we’re reaching out to you on a Sunday, but we’re in the process of preparing to protect the vote in this Tuesday’s local runoff elections, and we need your help. Our team is ready to head to the polls to address any issues that might arise for Georgia voters across the district.
Georgians are turning out in historic numbers this year — but in the June 9th primary, voters faced unacceptable barriers to the ballot box. Many precincts in Gwinnett County didn’t have voting machines, some lacked paper to print ballots, poll workers were confused, and 7th District voters stood in line for hours and hours — all to exercise their constitutionally guaranteed right to vote.
Even though our campaign is not on the ballot this week, we’re launching a voter protection program to ensure no Georgia resident is needlessly turned away at the polls and prevented from making their voice heard.
