John,

This name may not sound familiar — but here in Oregon, William Perry Pendley poses a significant threat to environmental protections and nature lovers.

  • Pendley spent four decades peeling away federal public land protections.
  • Trump appointed Pendley as Acting Director of the Bureau of Land Management. A role with oversight of 250 million acres of federal lands (that's 10% of the United States).
  • Pendley has worked to open up millions of acres of our public lands to logging, mining, and fossil fuel interests.

Pendley has done such a great job fueling Trump's anti-environment flames, that he was nominated as the full-time Director of the Bureau of Land Management. We cannot allow Pendley and Trump to continue selling our public lands to special interests.

Tell the Senate to reject William Perry Pendley's nomination to lead the Bureau of Land Management.

I've teamed up with U.S. Senators, Congresspersons, and progressive organizations to cosponsor a petition to thwart his nomination. Add your name to tell the Senate, "Our public lands are not for sale! Reject William Perry Pendley!"
