In 2016, nearly ONE in every TWO registered voters stayed home, handing the presidency to Donald Trump. That’s 46.9% of the electorate. 100 million people missed their chance to vote for moral, just, and principled leadership.
We can’t afford to let history repeat itself. The cost of doing nothing isn’t nothing -- it’s four more years of Trump. Right now, much of the damage can be undone if we elect more Democrats in the House and take back the Senate. But if Trump gets another term, the consequences will be irreversible. Without the pressure of re-election, a second term will see Trump unleashed -- closing the door on immigration, taking safety nets away from working families, and denying access to affordable health care to millions of Americans.
With less than 100 days until the election, we need to make sure every eligible voter turns in their ballot.
