We did it.
In the last week, over 700 new donors joined the our campaign (and we are still pinching ourselves) and we have over 130 volunteers. This means so much to us. And this didn’t happen on accident.
It happened because of you. It happened because you showed up, you shared pictures and posts on social media, you reposted, you came to events, you talked to your neighbors, your coworkers, your group chats. You made the case that this campaign is worth investing in.
And hundreds of people agreed.
I want to sincerely thank all of you. To everyone who is giving their time, talent, and treasure towards our August 4th election: thank you, this won’t happen without you. You’re building momentum. You’re the reason this is growing. You are the movement.
What’s happening over the next few months?
We’ve always said that winning isn’t just about dollars, it’s about people. About turning our community into real, undeniable political power. So we’re thrilled to introduce something that puts that power directly in your hands and is the lowest lift possible:

I’ve created a voting group on Sway to help organize supporters around the issues that matter most to Virginia’s 1st District. Sway is a free group-voting platform where supporters join, verify their voter registration, and receive ballot guidance directly from leaders they trust. The larger the group, the more political leverage it carries — putting people-powered campaigns on par with the lobbyists and special interests we’re up against. 1 million followers on social media isn’t my goal because there’s no way to know how many of them are voters. With Sway, we can finally see how our voting bloc is growing.
Elections are won by slim margins. In 2024, some races were decided by fewer than 100 votes. And what we’re up against is real. An establishment powered by money, influence, and backroom deals.
Sway is how we fight back. It’s how we turn scattered voices into coordinated action. While they try to outspend us, we will out-organize them. This platform puts power where it belongs: in the hands of the community.
It’s free. It’s private. And your data stays yours. I can’t even see your address, email, or phone number!
