The Trump administration’s so-called “Department of Government Efficiency” put millions of Americans’ Social Security benefits at risk.

• One DOGE employee at SSA signed an agreement to analyze voter rolls to "find evidence of voter fraud and to overturn election results in certain states."
• Another DOGE member shared personally identifiable information of 1,000 people in an encrypted e-mail attachment
• SSA also said DOGE shared data on third-party cloud servers that are "outside SSA's security protocols."

This is all after a whistleblower reported that a former senior DOGE official copied the Social Security numbers, names, and birthdays of over 300 million Americans to a private server that’s lacking proper security.

This reckless mismanagement of sensitive data could potentially put the entire Social Security system at risk.
