A.G. Holder is ringing the alarm, friend: The 2020 election is in danger. We have to fight tooth and nail to make sure all Americans have access to early voting and vote-by-mail, fully funded elections, and a U.S. Postal Service that delivers mail-in ballots on time.
The NDRC has a plan. Earlier this year, we decided to build on our scope of work to include election protection, because we know that fair redistricting in 2021 won't happen without fair elections in 2020. Since then, we and our allies have fought to increase voting access, block GOP attempts to suppress the vote, and even pressure Mitch McConnell to fully fund vote-by-mail.
A.G. Holder believes, and our entire team believes, that we will persevere in 2020. Voting and activism are still undoubtedly the vehicles to change our democracy and our government for the better.
