When our opponent, Congressman John Katko, votes to support Donald Trump's agenda, he's voting to sell out Social Security and Medicare and hurt senior citizens in central and western New York.
John Katko has been claiming he'll protect these programs, but actions speak louder than words. John Katko voted for the 2017 GOP tax scam that added $2 trillion to the deficit, and for the Balanced Budget Amendment in 2018. Right-wing special interests have long argued for cuts to Social Security and Medicare under the guise of "reducing the deficit" and "balancing the budget"; John Katko's votes played right into their hands and put these programs on the chopping block.
