Just one month after George Floyd was killed at the hands of police, a Miami
Gardens police officer was recorded tasing a woman with his knee on her neck.

This is a widespread problem, even in our own backyard.

While Debbie spoke on the House floor in support of the George Floyd Justice
in Policing Act prior to voting to pass the groundbreaking police reform
legislation, Gimenez vetoed hope for Floridians that want justice.

Leadership is representing the will of the people, not your own opinions and

concluded that Floridians believe racial bias exists in police departments,
both nationally and locally, and that there should be greater accountability
for police officers.

* 72% agree that systemic racism exists in our police departments nationally
* 54% agree that systemic racism exists in our police departments at a local
level
* 89% agree with calls for greater accountability for police officers accused
of misconduct
Yet again, Debbie went to bat for the will of the people, while Gimenez
