Folks, Washington is a mess right now.

While millions of Americans are laid off and struggling to feed their families and make ends meet, Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell is hellbent on making sure people get as little financial relief as possible.

Our elected leaders must come together to extend unemployment benefits to those hit hardest by this pandemic. Sadly though, I don’t have faith in Washington Republicans.

I’m fighting every single day to get to Congress to help the struggling families in South and West Texas, but this is going to be one of the toughest fights for Congress in the country.
