As the first Somali American, the first naturalized citizen from Africa, the first non-white woman elected from Minnesota, and one of the first two Muslim women to serve in Congress, Ilhan has been making history since she was first elected 2 years ago. This Green New Deal champion has done some serious work in the fights for healthcare, immigration justice, education access, and so much more.

Tomorrow night, you’ll have a chance to hear straight from Ilhan about our shared vision of a country that works for all of us and what we can achieve if we support each other in demanding that justice for our communities. Special guest Cori Bush will be there, bringing with her an incredible energy of hope carried over from her inspiring victory this past week.
