I need your help. I’m running to flip an important Senate seat in Arizona. Our campaign's got a lot of momentum so far, but I'm coming to you directly today because Mitch McConnell and my opponent are spending millions to hold onto this seat for Republicans.

My opponent, Martha McSally, lost her race for the Senate in 2018. She was later appointed to fill the seat she currently holds, and has spent the last two years rubber-stamping Mitch McConnell and Donald Trump’s agenda. Working Americans deserve better, and that’s why I’m running to replace her.

But, I know I can't win in November without you. This race in Arizona is one of the most hotly contested in the nation, and the national Republican machine is pouring endless resources into the state as we speak. They know that if they lose this race, the Senate looks a lot better for Democrats, so they won’t go down without a fight.

John, if you’re able, will you split a $10 donation between my campaign for Senate in Arizona and the Democrats to ensure that candidates in tough races like mine have the resources they need to win? We have a strong chance at flipping this seat, and so many others across the country, and each seat puts us one step closer to taking back the Senate from Mitch McConnell and putting our Democratic values front and center again.

I’m not a career politician, but I know what it means to serve. I’ve served our country in the Navy, and I’ve lived in the International Space Station during my four trips to space as a NASA astronaut. In other words, I know how to lead and work on a team -- and I give you my word that I’ll work collaboratively, as I've done for my entire life, to make things better for the people of my state and our nation.

With so much national attention on this race, I’ll need all the support I can get from folks like you if I’m going to weather attacks from the GOP and finish this fight in November.
