Thank you for the generosity of your support on my birthday! I am grateful for all of the kind words and contributions; they are vital to us building a strong campaign.

As I spent the evening with Adam and our daughters, I was thinking about the people I am working for - the parents who are trying to make ends meet, the neighbors who just lost their jobs, the seniors who are isolated for their own safety, the small business owners trying to stay afloat, the kids who don’t fully understand why they aren’t at school, the local officials trying to make it all work, the healthcare care workers saving lives and risking their own, the essential workers who have been keeping everything going, and those who have lost a loved one to this pandemic.

My team continues to work tirelessly on our campaign, and it is because they are working for so much more than maintaining this seat or even maintaining the majority. They, like me, are working for and on behalf of the people throughout our community and country who need a voice and who want empathetic lawmakers on Capitol Hill.
