When the Nonprofit Legal Defense Network launched last September, Yolanda Townsend was one of the first lawyers to get involved. She has participated in four clinics and even joined us for a panel at the Pro Bono Institute Annual Conference ([link removed]) to discuss how to build legal mobilizations for social movements.

Nonprofit organizations focused on strengthening democracy and protecting vulnerable populations have increasingly come under attack. That’s where the Nonprofit Legal Defense Network comes in.
