I just wanted to send you a quick note about some of the emails we’ve been sending. Over the past month, we’ve asked you to support some other candidates — people like Bernie Sanders, Marie Newman, and J.D. Scholten.

We know that’s not normal. Most of the candidates who email you for money are asking you to support them. And hey, we need support too. But there’s another consideration here: the movement at large.

Ro’s an incredible congressperson, but he can’t change this country alone. Our progressive movement needs an array of champions, and we need to work together to elect them. That’s why we’re proud that this movement is stepping up to help elect the progressive allies Ro needs to pass Medicare for All, hold Big Pharma accountable, and get the United States out of endless wars.

But here’s the situation: we’re coming up on a critical end-of-month goal, and right now, we’re still $5,620 short of hitting it. We’d like to send out more emails to support competitive, progressive campaigns. But we can only do it if you donate $3 to help us meet this goal today:

Ro isn’t like normal incumbents. He doesn’t fund his reelection efforts by hanging out with massive donors, or taking huge sums from corporate PACs. Instead, Ro speaks directly to the community, fights for you on Capitol Hill, and shows voters what they’ve invested in.

This is how all Democrats — or ideally all politicians — should run their campaigns. Even if they don’t, we’re happy to be a model for every leader to emulate.
