Hey, Brad Kennedy here again, Ed Markey's finance director.
As Ed’s finance director (and a Kennedy), I know the unique challenges that exist when you’re facing a Kennedy in Massachusetts. For one, we learned this week that Joe Kennedy III’s dad might be funneling millions from his old campaign account into a super PAC for his son.
If that’s all the explanation you need for why your donation is so important, then please use this link to make that $3 donation right now.

We’ve known from the start that this would be difficult. No one has ever beaten a Kennedy in Massachusetts, and Joe Kennedy has a massive donor network to tap into for max-out checks.
He walked into this race with a massive war chest that he banked over multiple cycles in the House, where his contribution limits were reset every two years. For the past year, he’s been going back to the same big-money donors who maxed out to help him build his war chest to ask for more $2,800 checks.
Despite all of Joe Kennedy’s advantages, our movement has held our own against his big money. We even narrowly outraised him at the last deadline. Now his campaign is desperate to blunt our momentum.
But with four days until our final FEC deadline before the primary, we’re counting on grassroots supporters to make sure we can compete with all the big money pouring in against us. What do you say?
Thank you in advance for pitching in to power our movement. Your support means a lot.
Brad Kennedy
