Hey John, TOMORROW we close the books on our first end-of-quarter fundraising deadline of the election year, and we wanted to give you an update.

Here’s the good news: After Chris emailed you about the stakes of this race and asked for your support, we’ve seen a huge surge in grassroots donations. We’re so grateful to have people like you on our team, who will step up when we need you!

But here’s the bad news: We’re still $2,583 short of our goal. This is our first major test of the election year, and we have to publicize our numbers tomorrow.

Luckily, we just ran the numbers, and if everyone reading this email pitches in just $5, we’ll be on track to crush our goal and show Republicans we’re going to win this seat again.
