Never quit

Dear Friend,

These are difficult days, which make moments of celebration that much more precious. This month we’ll celebrate Bill’s birthday, and I am especially thankful for those 74 years.

Of course, birthdays are also a time to hear from friends, and while I know he always appreciates your well wishes, I have a special gift in mind this year.

Bill and I often assert in challenging times, "Never quit, never quit, never quit." In recent months, we have spoken with hundreds of Clinton Foundation staff members, volunteers, partners and others addressing the pandemic who exemplify that unstoppable spirit.

People like the staff of World Central Kitchen, the City of Little Rock, our Clinton Presidential Center team, and other partners who have worked tirelessly these past many months to package and deliver more than 675,000 meals to our neighbors in need across Central Arkansas.

And our hard-working partners at diaper banks and food kitchens who, alongside our Too Small to Fail team, have distributed more than 50,000 books and educational resources to parents and caregivers who face challenges with childcare and schooling.

They are just a few of the heroes who are working to keep our country safe and strong, who endlessly inspire all of us, and who make a small celebration like Bill’s 74th birthday possible.

So, on this birthday, in honor of Bill, let’s thank these heroes and lift up their stories of service. Please take a moment to sign the enclosed card and share a message of support with these dedicated individuals. I’ll share your notes with Bill and together we’ll deliver your words of hope to those partners, staff, and volunteers who deserve our thanks and celebration.
