One of the biggest things I hear about from Texans is health care. From figuring out how they’ll get insurance coverage, to the sky-high cost of prescription medications, to the disastrous mismanagement of the COVID-19 pandemic. Sen. Cornyn was labeled health care “Repeal’s Top Salesman” by Politico because he worked so hard to try to gut the Affordable Care Act. Now, as COVID-19 continues to rage in Texas, he’s repeatedly made jokes about the pandemic and spread dangerous misinformation -- like when he said we’re not sure whether kids can transmit the coronavirus and that none had died from it.
