I was looking over the results of our end-of-quarter fundraising drive, while drinking my morning coffee, and I have to be candid: I was hoping we would be in a better place right now.

Our plan to win back the House is simple:

1. Release the strongest fundraising report possible. When our numbers go public, MAGA Republicans will make some big decisions based on that data. If our numbers are strong? They’ll back off. But if they’re weak? They could see an opening here in Colorado’s 7th — and go on offense.

3. Use those resources to reach every voter we can. Colorado’s 7th is home to hundreds of thousands of active voters. And to reach every single one of them in the next seven months? We need to go up on the airwaves, hold campaign events in every corner of the district, and get campaign literature into thousands of mailboxes. All of it takes resources.

5. Win this race on Election Day. OK, I know this one is pretty obvious — but winning this district isn’t some extra luxury Democrats can go without. We NEED to win here to have any chance of flipping the House.
