Early voting is running above every projection. Here's what that means for
April 21st.
I'm going to get straight to the point.
The early vote numbers for the Virginia Gerrymandering Referendum just came
in, and they are significantly better than anyone projected.
The VOTE NO coalition is showing up. Turnout is running above expectations.
And for the first time since Virginia Democrats forced this unconstitutional
referendum onto the April ballot, I genuinely believe we are going to win.
I want to tell you why.
When Democrats drew their 10-1 gerrymander and dared voters to stop them, they
counted on one thing above everything else: that most Virginians wouldn't pay
attention. That the complexity of redistricting policy would keep good people
on the sidelines. That a low-turnout special election would hand them a win
that the legislature couldn't.
Instead, something different happened.
Voters across Virginia, Republicans, independents, and even Democrats who
believe in fair elections started showing up. Not because any single TV ad told
them to. Because the word spread, person to person, donor to donor, that this
referendum wasn't about maps. It was about whether one party gets to draw the
electoral districts that determine every race in Virginia for the next decade.
That message got through.
The early vote data proves it.
But here is what I need you to understand.
We are ahead, but not safe. There is a difference.
Virginia Democrats are not going to look at these numbers and give up. They
are going to spend every dollar they have between now and April 21st trying to
close the gap. Their machine is funded, organized, and motivated. The Soros
network alone committed $5 million to flipping this vote.
Our advantage is real. Your job right now is to make sure it holds.
A contribution today goes directly to the field operation, the digital
advertising, and the GOTV infrastructure we need to protect this lead and turn
the early vote momentum into a final victory on April 21st.
