Jack,

Hope everyone had a wonderful weekend! For this week's edition of
Sustainer Sunday, we're bringing you a story from a student activist.

Meet Noah Dinan, a student at the Milwaukee School of Engineering:

I got into organizing when a group came to MSOE's campus targeting LGBTQ+
students. Several of us organized a counter-protest — I couldn't just
stand by. Afterward, I met students flying a YDSA flag and started
learning about the chapter. I've been attending meetings and volunteering
ever since.

We've been fighting to get ICE off campus and improve life for students.
But activism for me is bigger than any single issue — it's about promoting
working class and investing in community power, protecting trans folks and
LGBTQ+ communities, ending the wars our government is waging. Kindness to
all. That's what drives me.

When I saw Fran fighting for the same things — and saw that DSA endorsed
her — I became an instant volunteer and supporter. She's actually in the
fight.

To anyone who's skeptical about Fran or undecided in their choice for
governor: Ignore terms like 'democratic socialist' and look at what policy
candidates are actually fighting for. Ask yourself if those things align
with your values.

We are so grateful for Noah and everything he's done to spread the word on
campus and activate the student community. Earning the support of young
people whose futures are at stake is the ultimate vote of confidence.

But we're still fighting an uphill battle on fundraising. This movement
doesn't run on PAC money or corporate donors. It runs on people like Noah
giving what they can.
