We can create high-quality jobs while protecting the environment - Oregon's been leading the way for years. Protecting public lands and investing in clean and renewable energy will create jobs, curb climate change, and reduce our reliance on fossil fuels.

Despite the climate crisis, the Trump administration continues to make reckless choices grounded in greed. The latest? Trump is attempting to promote acclaimed anti-environment lawyer William Perry Pendley to be Director of the Bureau of Land Management.

Pendley has been Acting Director of the Bureau of Land Management since 2019, and in those months he's acted quickly to open public lands up to logging, mining, and fossil fuel interests. As Director, Pendley would control 250 million acres of federal lands - there's too much at stake to let him govern our public lands.

Sign my petition and call on the Senate to reject Pendley's nomination.
