Arizona Department Of Health Services Releases School Benchmarks
ADHS has established benchmarks in collaboration with local public health officials and education partners to guide decisions by public school districts and charter schools on when to offer virtual, hybrid, or in-person instruction amid the current COVID-19 pandemic.

Support For Arizona School Benchmarks
The Benchmarks were developed in response to Governor Ducey’s June 23 Executive Order, Arizona: Open for Learning, and align with the Arizona Department of Education Roadmap for Reopening Schools. Community leaders, health officials and more voiced their support.

Governor Ducey Meets With President Trump, Dr. Birx On COVID-19
Governor Ducey this week met with Pres. Trump and White House Coronavirus Response Coordinator Dr. Birx in the Oval Office to discuss COVID-19 and further actions to contain the spread of the virus and protect public health. Arizona has partnered closely with the White House Coronavirus Task Force to implement targeted, commonsense mitigation measures and surge supplies and resources to the state.
