It’s Mary Peltola here with a humble request: Can you please make a contribution to my campaign before our first ever end-of-quarter deadline?

I’m sorry to be so upfront because — to be honest — Yup’ik people don’t like asking for money. In fact, I hate it! But I wouldn’t ask if your support wasn’t so important.

The reality is that on Tuesday at midnight, we close the books on our very first FEC fundraising deadline of this campaign.

When this deadline passes, we’ll have to publicly report exactly how much we’ve raised for anyone — my opponent, the press, the entire peanut gallery — to see.

What we raise before then will determine whether we hit our goals and can continue scaling up our operation, or risk having to hold back on the critical outreach we’re planning across Alaska.

So needless to say, this is a huge moment. This is our first test to see if we have the grassroots power we need to win, and everyone will be watching to see the results.

This team has stood by my side since I launched this campaign just a few months ago, and I’m hopeful that this first FEC deadline will be no different.

So I have to humbly ask:

Can you make a contribution of whatever you can afford, to help us hit our goals before our first end-of-quarter fundraising deadline? With everyone chipping in just a little bit, I know we can get where we need to be.

We don’t have much more time until the deadline on Tuesday night, so I’m counting on supporters like you, to help us show the strength of this team.

Thank you for chipping in what you can. Everything makes a difference.

Mary
