Governor Parson's Schedule for August 10 - 13, 2020
(JEFFERSON CITY, MO) ??Next week, Governor Mike Parson will travel to several events across the state, including multiple broadband development events and the 2020 Missouri State Fair.?
On Monday, August 10, Governor Parson will speak at the groundbreaking ceremony for the Bicentennial Bridge in Jefferson City. Monday evening, Governor Parson will speak at the opening ceremony for the 121st Grand American Competition of the Amateur Trapshooting Association (ATA) in Linn Creek.?
On Tuesday, August 11, Governor Parson will attend broadband development events at Callaway Electric Cooperative in Fulton and SEMO Electric Cooperative in Sikeston.?
On Wednesday, August 12, Governor Parson will attend a broadband development event in Macon and an education roundtable in Hannibal. On Wednesday evening, Governor Parson will attend the Missouri State Fair Foundation Picnic Gala and the Legacy Flag Dedication Ceremony at the 2020 Missouri State Fair.?
On Thursday, August 13, Governor Parson will make several stops at the 2020 Missouri State Fair. Please see attachments for the Governor?s full State Fair schedule.?
At 12 p.m. on Thursday, Governor Parson will hold a press briefing at the fair with Missouri Department of Agriculture Director Chris Chinn and other State Fair and agriculture leaders. This briefing will replace the Governor?s usual 3 p.m. briefing at the State Capitol. A recording of the briefing will be available on Governor Parson?s Facebook page, and pictures will be available on Flickr.?
After the press briefing, Governor Parson will travel to Maryville for another broadband development event.
