John,

A year ago today, Cameron announced his candidacy for Congress. When this campaign started, he was not the favorite to win the primary, and few national observers thought VA-05 was in play.

But together, we showed what is possible with a grassroots campaign built on shared values and honest conversations. In June's high-turnout primary, Cameron won a strong victory, and polling since then has put him within two points of winning the general election.

The issues that spurred Cameron to run -- opportunities for health and success for everyone -- have taken on even greater significance in the last year. Voters recognize that this is a moment for new voices who understand the human impact of policy, and they're looking for leaders who will put people first.

We've come this far because of our incredible grassroots supporters -- people like you. And since we're not taking corporate PAC money, we're counting on you to keep us moving forward in the final 88 days of this race.

So please help us mark one year -- and sustain our momentum into Election Day -- by chipping in $25.
