I’m sorry to bug you on a Saturday. But if you have a moment, I hope you’ll read this message.

Since we’re approaching the end of the month, that means you’re probably getting a lot of emails from candidates and elected officials like me. Enough to make your inbox cry out for help.

With all that in mind, I wanted to take a minute and send you a different kind of message. Not about some HUGE fundraising goal or CRITICAL deadline, but to tell you a little bit about myself.

But listen: If you’re short on time, and still want to make an impact in one of the districts crucial to winning a Democratic majority, you can chip in here: [link removed] [[link removed]]

Have you ever wondered why most of Congress seems focused on policies that only help the ultra-wealthy?

It’s because most members of Congress belong to that group.

I’m proud to come from a background that sets me apart from many of my colleagues. I don’t come from generational wealth. My mom was a hairdresser, my dad worked in construction, and I started working at 12 years old.

When you picture a member of Congress, someone like me is, well… probably one of the last people you’d expect. But I think that’s an asset — not a liability.

Working moms in Lakewood don’t need another Trump-loving millionaire representing them. And young people in Broomfield don’t need a climate-denying extremist in office. They need someone who doesn't just understand their struggles. They need someone who’s lived them. That’s me.

My life has shaped my voice, and I’m using it to make sure no mom, dad, or kid is left behind by their government. If that mission speaks to you, can you chip in a few dollars to help us meet our FEC fundraising goal? [[link removed]]
