South Asia
Praise God for 140 people rescued last week in a risky rescue operation. These families had been trapped for up to 30 years at a violent brick kiln—hidden in plain sight from the community around them. Because the kiln owner was so powerful, authorities took unprecedented security measures to keep the rescue team and survivors safe throughout the operation. Praise God everyone remains safe, and please pray for healing and hope as these families experience freedom for the first time in years.
Africa & Europe
Praise God for the modern surveillance drone donated by Team Ghana to the Ghana Marine Unit of the Ghana police service. Pray for God to use it to strengthen monitoring and rescue efforts across the Volta Lake and other regions where children are at risk. Pray for wisdom, protection and increased capacity for the small but dedicated Marine Unit in Kete Krachi as they confront trafficking networks and overcome operational barriers. Ask God to bless the work of IJM and its partners so coordination grows, operations expand and lasting breakthroughs take root in vulnerable communities.
Latin America
Praise God for the Regional Forum on Access and Continuity in Justice for Women that took place last week. Praise God for uniting survivor leaders and justice workers from six Latin American countries in a powerful gathering that strengthened pathways to safety and protection for women and children. Give thanks for the courage of survivors like Leydi from Colombia, whose stories inspired justice officials to pursue deeper change. We celebrate the new cross‑country partnerships that emerged and ask God to use them to bring lasting healing and justice.
Asia Pacific
Praise God for the leaders of Calamba City in the Philippines who met with IJM staff to discuss strengthening the protection of children vulnerable to online exploitation. We are grateful for local officials who expressed a clear desire to deepen cooperation and safeguard every child in their community. Pray that God grants wisdom and unity as they work toward a formal partnership that will bring lasting safety and restoration.
