As I walk along the side of the road, people in cars pull up and ask me if I need a ride. 

Nope, I tell them: I'm walking from Atlanta to Washington D.C. to call a state of emergency on America's corruption crisis. When I get there, I'm going to sit on the steps of our nation's Capitol until our leaders act to fix it.

Every day I walk about 15 miles. Along the way I talk to people – at churches, community meetings, and schools – and I tell them why I'm walking.  

Young or old, Democrat or Republican, the response is the same: Americans everywhere agree it's time to fix our broken political system. 

We can get politicians to listen to our demands if we work together. The first step is making sure millions more Americans, in every state, hear the story of this walk and our demands. So check out the video about the Democracy911 walk, and share it far and wide.
