John,
In this week’s update, (1) Lee is recognized as one of the most bipartisan members of the House, (2) Isaias storms across Long Island, and (3) 1,500 people attend the Back the Blue rally in Sayville. Lee & His Bipartisanship During my time in Congress, I have always been able to work across the aisle to deliver key victories for Long Island. In a divided government, this is necessary to get meaningful legislation passed. I am proud to have again been recognized as one of the top bipartisan members of Congress! I was ranked the second most bipartisan younger member of the House of Representatives, joining one Republican colleague and three Democrat colleagues rounding out the top 5. This is based on how often Members of Congress sign onto legislation written by representatives from the other party and how much of their own legislation receives support from across the aisle.
See and share the post here. Power Outages on Long Island There is no good reason so much of Long Island should still be without power. Hardworking linemen are working to restore power, but PSEG was clearly unprepared and understaffed for this one. As maintenance teams are working around the clock to restore power, outages can be tracked here.

People are making their voices heard in opposition to insane and wrong calls to defund, dismantle or abolish the police. I will always fight to defend the great men and women who risk their lives everyday so that our communities are safe.
