TEXAS AMONG "10 SENATE SEATS
MOST LIKELY TO FLIP IN 2020"
-- The Washington Post

HELP US REACH OUR END-OF-MONTH GOAL: [link removed]

Team,

Imagine this: a Senate that fights to protect affordable health care, address gun violence, and create an economy that works for everyday Texans -- instead of just serving Mitch McConnell's agenda and the corporate special interests.

According to The Washington Post, the path to that new Senate runs straight through Texas! That's because Texans are tired of the same old Washington playbook from Senator Cornyn:

Cornyn said he wants to lower prescription drug costs, but he voted against a measure to do it -- ensuring his Big Pharma donors can keep raising prices.

Cornyn said he wants to keep our communities safe from gun violence, but he won't return from his summer recess to take up the legislation on Mitch McConnell's desk.

Cornyn said he wanted tax reform geared toward middle class families, but the bill he helped Mitch McConnell pass slashed taxes on his ultra-wealthy and corporate PAC donors.

On each and every issue, Senator Cornyn puts the needs of his special interest donors first. It's past time for a Senate that prioritizes the people of Texas over corporate special interests! We need 9,145 more donations to reach our end-of-month goal -- can you pitch in so MJ can defeat John Cornyn next November?
