Dear John,
Unemployment is at Depression levels, and with the new surge in COVID-19 infections, joblessness may grow still worse. The important HEROES Act, if passed over GOP objections in the Senate, will relieve only the crisis' most severe symptoms.
Meanwhile the Trump administration, when not declaring the country "pandemic free" and attempting to bully workers back to job sites, is stoking division and hatred with a vengeance.
With the November election just around the corner, millions are wondering: what's it going to take to make life liveable again?
These issues and more will be addressed at the upcoming Town Hall Forum on the Unemployment Crisis on Sunday August 16 at 8:00 PM Eastern, 7:00 Central and 5:00 Pacific.
