Amanda Makki Wins Back-to-Back Polls –
St. Petersburg Chamber of Commerce Straw Poll!

St. Petersburg, FL – Yesterday, the St. Petersburg Chamber of Commerce hosted their virtual ‘Candidate Conversations’ event and ended with a straw poll that included Florida’s 13th Congressional race. Frontrunner, Amanda Makki, was the Republican primary candidate of choice by far.

“The opportunity to listen to the business owners and employees concerns from the St. Petersburg Chamber of Commerce was fantastic! I shared why I am the best candidate to partner with President Trump to get our post-COVID 19 economy back on track, lower healthcare costs for small businesses and fight for term limits. I am humbled to know that Pinellas voters see me as the best candidate to achieve those things. By winning both Chamber of Commerce straw polls in the Tampa Bay Area, I know we are speaking the voice of the people who want to see a conservative agenda, a Member of Congress who stands with President Trump and is the only Conservative candidate who can retire Charlie Crist in November,” said Makki.
As the Republican frontrunner candidate for Florida’s 13th Congressional District, Amanda Makki has received the endorsements from esteemed military veterans including Representative Lt. General Jack Bergman, the highest-ranking combat Veteran ever to serve in Congress, Senator Joni Ernst, the first female combat Veteran ever elected to the United States Senate, Congressmen Michael Waltz (Lt. Colonel), Congressman Neal Dunn (Major), and combat Veteran Robert O’Neill of the elite Navy SEAL Team 6.

In addition, she is endorsed by House Republican Leader Kevin McCarthy, Republican Whip Steve Scalise, Health Care Ranking Member and Physician Michael Burgess, as well as Florida Congressional Representatives John Rutherford and Neal Dunn. Locally, Amanda has the support of Seminole City Councilor Thom Barnhorn, Belleair Beach Mayor Joseph Manzo and Treasure Island Commissioner Tyler Payne. She was named to the National Republican Campaign Committee’s Young Guns program as one of the top “Contender” candidates.

Additionally, Amanda has received over 25 major endorsements including The American Conservative Union, the Conservative groups FreedomWorks, Republican Main Street Partnership PAC, and Maverick PAC as well as groups supporting the strongest female candidates in the U.S. including VIEW PAC, Maggie’s List, and Rep. Elise Stefanik’s E-PAC, that helps female GOP candidates. She is also supported by the American College of Emergency Physicians and Associated Builders & Contractors Florida Gulf Coast Chapter.
