Dear A.,

Israelis across the country faced near-constant salvos of indiscriminate rocket and missile fire today, with ten Iranian missile salvos forcing millions into bomb shelters and more than 100 rockets fired at Israel by Hezbollah in the past 24 hours.

The regime continues to launch cluster warhead munitions at Israel’s most populated cities. Today, missile shrapnel from these cluster bombs struck Tel Aviv, Haifa, Modiin, and Kafr Qasem.

43-year-old Uri Peretz, a resident of the northern Israeli city of Nahariya, was murdered in one of the Hezbollah strikes, and several more are being treated for injuries.

Two IDF soldiers were also killed in action fighting Hezbollah in Lebanon since yesterday, Staff Sgt. Ori Greenberg, 21, and Sgt. Aviaad Elchana Volansky, 21. May their memories be a blessing.

Meanwhile, in a major precision strike today, the IDF eliminated two senior IRGC Navy officials: Alireza Tanjsiri and Behnma Rezaei.

Tanjsiri served as

head of the IRGC Navy and was responsible for the regime's strikes on oil tankers and other ships passing through the Strait of Hormuz, overseeing the regime's closure of the Strait in recent weeks.

CENTCOM Commander Adm. Brad Cooper

said that Tanjsiri's death "makes the region safer," and noted that Tanjsiri had been designated as a Specially Designated Global Terrorist by the U.S. Treasury in June 2019.

Rezaei was the

head of the IRGC Navy's Intelligence Directorate, responsible for "intelligence collection on regional countries and led cooperation with various intelligence organizations."

The United States, meanwhile, has now struck well over 10,000 regime targets in the three-and-a-half weeks since Operation Epic Fury started.

Contact Congress: Oppose Dangerous Resolutions to Block Arms to Israel

Senator Bernie Sanders has introduced new resolutions to block critical arms sales to Israel.

This dangerous effort undermines Israel’s security as our ally confronts the Iranian regime in cooperation with the U.S. and defending Israelis against Iran’s terror proxy Hezbollah in Lebanon.

TAKE 45 SECONDS: Urge your Senators to vote NO on these resolutions.

IDF Spokesman Brig. Gen. Effie Defrin says the military has hit more than 1,000 targets of Iran's weapon production industries so far amid the war.

-
The Israeli Air Force hit multiple Iranian weapons sites in the past 24 hours, the military said. Sixty fighter jets dropped more than 150 bombs near Tehran and central Iran.

The IDF issued an urgent warning to residents south of the Zahrani River in southern Lebanon. "Hezbollah’s terrorist activities are forcing the Defense Army to act in the area. UAE ambassador op-ed: The UAE Stands Up to Iran

UAE Ambassador to the United States Yousef Al Otaiba made

the case for eliminating the threat from Iran in an op-ed for the Wall Street Journal.

"The past three and a half weeks of war have confirmed what we have known for nearly 50 years—Iran’s revolution is a threat to global security and economic stability. We can’t let Iran hold the U.S., the UAE and the global economy hostage."

"This isn’t a war we wanted... [but] Iran’s nuclear capabilities have been degraded. Its proxies have been weakened. More needs to be done to remove the missile and drone threats. And we are ready to join an international initiative to reopen the strait [of Hormuz] and keep it open."

"We aren’t asking the U.S. to carry the full burden. We are defending our people, protecting regional stability and global prosperity, and demonstrating that real alliances are built on cooperation and contribution, not dependency."

"We want Iran as a normal neighbor. It can be reclusive and even unwelcoming, but it can’t attack its neighbors, blockade international waters, or export extremism. Building a fence around the problem and wishing it goes away isn’t the answer. It would simply defer the next crisis."
