Hi John,

Climate change is one of the most urgent issues we face, and we're already seeing its impact here in Maine. I believe that we need bold and immediate action to address the threats climate change poses.

That's why today, I released my Climate Agenda, a comprehensive eight-part plan to fight climate change, bolster our economy, and protect Maine people.

Read my plan here, and then add your name if you agree it's time to take action on climate change:

The Trump administration continues to attack environmental regulations -- abandoning the Paris Climate Agreement, rolling back critical clean air protections, and more. But instead of fighting for Maine, Susan Collins has sided with the oil and gas industry, confirming over a dozen of Trump's anti-environmental nominees.

That's why now more than ever, Maine needs a senator who will take bold action on climate change. At the federal level, we need to increase renewable energy production, lower carbon emissions, improve our infrastructure, protect Maine's coastline and heritage industries, and grow our economy.

As Speaker of the Maine House, I passed some of the most aggressive goals in our state's history to reduce carbon emissions and increase renewable energy production -- it's time for leadership in Washington to do the same.

If you're ready for a senator who will put Maine's environment and people before fossil fuel special interests, add your name in support of my Climate Agenda:

Thank you so much for your support. Together, we can win this race and deliver meaningful results for Maine -- and our country -- on climate.
