The Unz Review Digest - August 7, 2020
Ranking first with nearly as much readership as the next three most popular articles combined was Fred Reed’s focus on the likely-to-explode racial powder-keg of today’s America, exemplified by the nationwide riots and looting, the attacks on our most cherished historical monuments, and the hundreds of organized and heavily-armed black militiamen who recently marched in two Southern cities. The potential for massive racialized violence in the very near future has never seemed more plausible. This topic quickly attracted over 700 comments, totaling over 90,000 words.
Second place was held by Larry Romanoff’s lengthy analysis of the supposed efforts by ruling elites in America and other portions of the Western world to massively reduce the world’s population along with implementing various eugenic proposals.
Our third most popular featured article was an account of Linh Dinh’s current sojourn in the Balkans, describing the powerful political and ethnic fractures that have occupied that region for centuries, and flaring into brutal civil war a couple of decades ago. Naturally, the discussion attracted an outpouring of strong-minded Serbs, Croats, and other readers, who sharply disputed many aspects of the recent history.
In fourth place was Mike Whitney’s description of the ongoing urban turmoil in Seattle, whose leftist and antifa activists seem to profess many similarities with the Bolsheviks who just over a century ago seized power in Russia, inaugurating a generations of bloodshed throughout Europe.
Ranking fifth was Eric Striker’s discussion of the extreme hypocrisy of affluent suburban liberals regarding racial integration, a cause that they ardently champion in public stance, but seem desperately eager to avoid when it comes to the education of their own children.
And coming up extremely fast after just twenty-hour hours is Greg Johnson’s scathing review of the now-leaked videotape showing the details of the George Floyd incident in Minneapolis, which strongly indicates that the police officers handled themselves entirely properly and strengthens the likelihood that Floyd died of an illegal drug overdose, suggesting that the recent months of massive urban upheaval and political agitation throughout our nation was based upon a hoax.
Finally, although it’s now dropped out of the top ranks, my own analysis of the “political bankruptcy” of American White Nationalism continues to attract enormous discussion, with more than 1,300 comments totaling over 200,000 words, the overwhelming majority of them very sharply critical of my position.

Black militia at Stone Mountain. Cocky, heavily armed, outgunning the police. White militias have similar firepower. A fight is entirely possible. In downtown America. Hoo-boy. She’s ready to explode, go high order. Smoking ruins, dead bodies, seething hatreds, and a country that can’t be put back together. It may not happen, but she looks ready....

When writing of the evils of globalisation, many authors focus on the commercial aspects such as privatisation, with other primarily political components such as the loss of national sovereignty, the destruction of cultures and civilisations and of the family, morality and societies, being perhaps not ignored but not seen or included as integral parts of...

I’ve moved to a new neighborhood. Choryang-dong was instructive, delicious and hospitable, but like visas, passion or time itself, everything winds down. Thanks to the coronavirus, I felt a bit trapped there, so I’ve inched over to Hadžipopovac. Entering South Korea on February 28th, I thought there was a good chance I wouldn’t be able...

Here's a question for you: When a young man dressed entirely in black, uses a racial justice protest to conceal himself so he can break windows, incinerate retail shops and cafes, pelt cops with bottles, rocks and fireworks, and spread mayhem across the city, what is the political message he is trying to send? 1--...

Wealthy suburban whites may put Black Lives Matter signs on their lawn, but that doesn't mean they want blacks in their children's school. The Donald Trump campaign's naked racial appeal to white professionals to keep blacks out of their suburbs has been received with discomfort and feigned outrage by Jewish media taste makers. Polls show...

The cries for justice over the deaths of Trayvon Martin and Michael Brown were hoaxes. Both men were criminals who died because they were dumb enough to assault men with guns. The same is true of Ahmaud Arbery. They got justice. Jussie Smollet and Bubba Wallace were hoaxers painting themselves as victims of hate crimes....

I first encountered Robin DiAngelo three years ago, during my investigation of the Jewish origins and intellectual currents of Whiteness Studies. DiAngelo was then just another relatively minor speaker and academic on the university/consulting network in Whiteness Studies, and I was undecided then, and remain undecided, as to whether DiAngelo is wholly, in part, or...

The sources of America’s immigration problems—and a possible solution
Ron Unz •
The American Conservative
Will mass immigration destroy the GOP? Can our middle-class society survive high immigration levels? Is there any political solution to our current immigration difficulties? Last June the U.S. Census disclosed that non-white births in America were on the verge of surpassing the white total and might do so as early as the end of this...

Few want to return to Obama or Clinton
Donald Trump might be described as unique as a president of the United States in that he constantly impulsively self-promotes in a bizarre fashion which the Independent has described as “wild days of authoritarian and incoherent outbursts.” But normally politicians are canny enough to steal and connive out of sight without letting on what they...

So, the White Black Nationalist Color Revolution (“made possible in part by at GloboCap”) appears to be going extremely well. The American people are under attack, the country is under attack, and democracy is under attack. At present, the enemy is conducting a three-pronged assault on the presidency the objective of which is to remove the existing administration and install their own sock-puppet replacement. This has been the goal from the very beginning although the...

Do genes account for 50—70% of racial differences in intelligence?
It is perfectly reasonable for critics to ask, every so often, if there is any work showing that genes make a contribution to intellectual differences between genetic groups. I assume it can be accepted that genes make a difference within a genetic group, and the animus arises only when genetic groups are being compared. One...

Before differing interests could break them apart, hatred had to be fomented between North and South. He states his position clearly: “The American...
