John, I've witnessed the consequences of the GOP's voter suppression tactics. It's why I have committed to fight relentlessly to protect the integrity of elections in my home state of Georgia and across the country, and why I'm asking you to make a contribution -- of any amount -- before Saturday's end-of-month deadline to protect voting rights nationwide and elect Democrats who will protect the right to vote.

-- Funding permanent voter protection efforts by hiring full-time lawyers and staff;
-- Maintaining full-time English- and Spanish-language national voter protection hotlines that voters can call or text to report issues with their registration or while casting a ballot;
-- Supporting the campaigns of Democratic secretaries of state who will oversee fair elections in the years to come.

We know beyond a shadow of a doubt that the GOP is ready to double down on its voter suppression playbook this year and in 2020, John. It is up to all of us to stand up and fight to defend voting rights -- and your contribution to the DNC will serve as an investment in our democracy and our future.
