NY Times Headline: New York Attorney General Sues N.R.A. and Seeks Its Closure [[link removed]]
New York State Attorney General Letitia James took decisive action to defend the rule of law yesterday by suing the NRA and seeking its closure.
AG James’ lawsuit lays out the corruption and fraud embedded in the culture of NRA leadership, and I’m glad they are being held to account.
For decades, the NRA has caused unnecessary suffering by spending big money to sabotage any attempt to stop gun violence, and taking down such a powerful organization sends a strong message that no group is above the law.

The NRA will respond to this by seeking to politicize the issue. It’s essential that we don’t let their hate-fueled distraction tactics make us lose focus on the fact that they’ve violated the law and need to be held accountable.
Like President Trump, they have acted as if the rules don’t apply to them.
I got news for the NRA and Donald Trump: this is America and in this country, no one is above the law! Sign here if you agree→ [[link removed]]
