1. NC VALUES: NC Values Endorses E.C. Sykes for Secretary of State. Watch our NC Values Voice interview with E.C. Sykes at ncvalues.org/voice
Join us this week for another episode of “The NC Values Voice”, a weekly 30-minute interview by Executive Director, Tami Fitzgerald, with a special guest. The NC Values Voice will be aired on Facebook Live every Wednesday night at 7:30pm. Our goal is to inform and motivate our statewide coalition members with current, relevant information.
On this week's program, we welcomed E.C. Sykes, Republican candidate for NC Secretary of State. E.C. Sykes discussed his successful background in business, and why he believes he is uniquely qualified to remove the barriers to economic growth, foster job creation, and improve the business environment as our next Secretary of State.

3. HERITAGE: Virtual Event: Protecting Children in Education Summit
International and domestic activists have increased their efforts to introduce graphic sex education curricula, sexual orientation and gender identity ideology, and promotion of abortion in public schools. Last year, the House of Representatives passed the Equality Act, which could pave the way for the imposition of similar curriculum at the national level—forcing its implementation in every state.
Join us for a virtual summit on Protecting Children in Education. Expert panels will discuss opposing the sexualization of children through laws and policies that impose medically unsound comprehensive sexuality education and sexual orientation and gender identity curriculum in schools. <[link removed]>Click here to view the agenda and register for this event. <[link removed]>

5. WSJ: School-Opening Extortion
"For most Americans the coronavirus is a scourge. But teachers unions seem to think it’s also an opportunity—to squeeze more money from taxpayers and put their private and public charter school competition out of business. That’s the only way to read the extraordinary effort by national and local union leaders to keep their members from returning to the classroom.
Last week Randi Weingarten, leader of the powerful American Federation of Teachers, declared support for 'safety strikes' if local unions deem insufficient the steps..."

WEEKLY PRAYER: LIFE
LORD, we recognize that you are Sovereign over all creation. We recognize you made man from the dust, and in your mercy crowned creation with man and woman made in your image. What a wonder it is that you would bestow upon us this blessing and responsibility!
We pray LORD that we would not take this for granted. We pray that both this great responsibility, and this great dignity, may motivate us to love you more, love our neighbor more, and love ourselves more
LORD, may we as a culture truly see and believe that children are a blessing from the LORD—born or unborn; able or disabled. All children should have an opportunity to experience the liberty of life.
"At that time the disciples came to Jesus and asked, 'Who, then, is the greatest in the kingdom of heaven?' He called a little child to him, and placed the child among them. And he said: 'Truly I tell you, unless you change and become like little children, you will never enter the kingdom of heaven. Therefore, whoever takes the lowly position of this child is the greatest in the kingdom of heaven. And whoever welcomes one such child in my name welcomes me. If anyone causes one of these little ones—those who believe in me—to stumble, it would be better for them to have a large millstone hung around their neck and to be drowned in the depths of the sea.'" (Matthew 18:1-6)
Amen
