The lawyer who wrote a legal defense of waterboarding for George W. Bush is now giving Trump advice on the best way to break the law.

He wrote in a National Review article that the Supreme Court’s ruling to protect DACA actually gave Trump new presidential powers -- and that the immigration decision “makes it easy for presidents to violate the law.”

That’s all Trump needed to hear -- he’s since crowed about the article to anyone who will listen, and even invited lawyer John Yoo for a face-to-face at the White House last week.

We know what they’re planning: an illegal attack on the hundreds of thousands of undocumented immigrants who call this country home. The Supreme Court settled this issue once before -- and we refuse to let Trump and his gang of lawless cronies bend the ruling to fit their will.
