It feels like we’re all living in two different worlds nowadays.

The top 10% of earners comprise 49.2% of consumer spending. Billionaire Trump donors are getting handed pardons left and right. Wealthy politicians are getting richer by the hour.

Meanwhile, Trump's tariff inflation is chewing through the wallets of working families. Oil prices are skyrocketing. Medicaid is being slashed to pay for billionaire tax breaks.

For too long, Washington has served the interests of billionaires and billionaire corporations. Corrupt politicians have abandoned the constituents who elected them.

I’m no ordinary politician. Born and raised in Orange, California, to a working-class immigrant family, I have spent my life fighting for the working people of this country.

As a labor lawyer for the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers, I began my career defending the rights of workers in the courtroom. Now, I defend them in Congress.

There isn’t enough courage in Congress nowadays, but I’m proud to be one of the few voices standing up for working and immigrant families across this country.
