For decades, low-income and non-white communities in the United States have faced the brunt of pollution.

Too often, power plants and other sources of air and water pollution are disproportionately built in or around poor neighborhoods and communities of color, passing on life-threatening, long-term health effects. Families without clean drinking water. 'Cancer alleys' with skyrocketing rates of cancer and respiratory issues linked to air pollution. This is environmental injustice and inequality, and it has life-or-death consequences.

This form of systemic racism must be addressed. That's why Cory, along with Senators Kamala Harris and Tammy Duckworth, introduced new legislation to put people over polluters by directly confronting the issue of environmental racism.

The bill would require the government to consider and address environmental disparities, prevent discrimination, and give vulnerable communities the tools to seek help and fight back against polluters.

Help Cory build public support for this legislation to create environmental justice for all: add your name in support of the Environmental Justice for All Act now.
