[[link removed]]Dear John,

Tell us what you think about the Coronavirus Act
[[link removed]]

I’m writing to you today to ask for your thoughts on the Coronavirus Act.

Since the beginning of the pandemic, Liberty has worked to decipher the often
confusing guidance from Government and provide people with easy to understand
information to navigate a fast moving and challenging situation.

We’ve exposed the over-policing of BAME communities, the reduction of care
services by local councils and the draconian police detention powers contained
in the Act.

Like many organisations, we’ve had to significantly shift what we’re working on
during the crisis. We’ve had to ensure we’re putting our resources where they’ll
be most effective to protect our rights, support the work of grassroots groups
and provide people with the information they need.

Now, we need your help. We want to understand how you feel about the Act and its
impact on our rights. Please fill in our quick survey now.

TAKE SURVEY →
[[link removed]]It takes just a few minutes and will give us valuable information that we can
use as we plan the next stage of our work.

We’ve all had to make huge sacrifices during the crisis, but a pandemic should
not be an excuse to roll back our rights.

Thank you for your ongoing support.

Stay safe and stay well.

Martha Spurrier
