It’s hard to believe with everything that has happened since the 2019 Federal Election that we could be just one year away from the next one. But it is possible, as the earliest date Scott Morrison could call a simultaneous House of Representatives and Senate election is 7th August 2021.
In 2021, Australians everywhere will still be fielding the effects of a government not willing to put workers and their families first. The next election will be vital for charting a course through the coronavirus recovery – Labor won’t accept a recovery where Australians who are struggling the most get left behind.
We’ve seen how the coronavirus pandemic has had a huge impact on people everywhere and there’s a possibility we may have to go to an election with coronavirus still affecting how we can campaign.
We want to be ready to campaign effectively against that government that relies upon support for from big business and vested interests with deep pockets.
We’re already getting ready but we need your support to make sure that we’re on the front foot for whenever the starters gun is fired.
