Hi John,

Proposals like Medicare for All and price controls kill innovation and incentives to invest in R&D. No one disputes this, actually. So why is innovation personal for me? Click here or on the image above to find out. ([link removed])

Susan Carol Crenshaw — my mother — lost her battle with cancer when I was 10 years old. Before she died, she was Patient #1 for a new treatment called Taxotere. My mom knew that this clinical trial would mean a small extension on her life at best. She knew that Taxotere would not ultimately save her life, but that her trial would give doctors the scientific research they needed to improve the drug and save the lives of countless others.

Now Taxotere is one of the most successful breast cancer treatments available, thanks to the invaluable research following my mom’s trial.

Medical innovation saves lives. It's why I helped introduce the Lower Costs, More Cures Act to hold pharmaceutical companies accountable, lower prescription drug costs, AND encourage more innovative cures.

Democrats in Congress want massive government takeovers of our health care system with proposals like Medicare for All and pharmaceutical price controls. These policies will force you into a one-size-fits-all, government-run health plan, and restrict your access to new innovative cures.

There is a stark difference between the proposals Republicans and Democrats put forward. Don't let anyone tell you otherwise.
