Our guest presenters will explore how disability rights laws—including the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) and Section 504 of the Rehabilitation Act—apply to temporary workers, seasonal employees, staffing agency placements, internships, volunteers, and more. Discussions will focus on protections that extend beyond traditional full-time roles, including how responsibilities may be shared between third parties, agencies, and host employers. The session will include key legal concepts under ADA Title I and Section 504, with a focus on reasonable accommodations, the interactive process, and nondiscrimination obligations in both public and private sector settings.

Participants will learn about their rights and employer obligations in various settings, including who is responsible for providing accommodations, how to navigate common challenges involving short-term or non-traditional workers, and ensuring compliance while supporting an inclusive workforce.

Sign language interpreters and CART captioning will be provided. For other accommodations, please email [email protected].

*Presenters:*
