Hi, it’s
U.S. Senator Tammy Duckworth. I’m reaching out to you today for something
critical to our Democracy: protecting voting rights and pushing back
against Trump efforts to steal the 2026 election. And we can start in
Virginia. 

Now, you may be wondering why an Illinois Senator cares about
redistricting in Virginia, but I promise you this is hugely important.

The effort against Republican misinformation, electoral rigging and
Trump’s power grab isn’t an isolated front, it’s a national one. What
happens in Virginia will have ripple effects across the country, and it’s
absolutely essential that we make sure Virginia stays a symbol of
resistance to Trump and his MAGA meddlers.

Early voting is already underway and the election is on April 21. We don’t
have any time to waste as we push back against Republican misinformation
flooding this race.

Trump and MAGA Republicans have made it clear time and time again: they
will not hesitate to do whatever it takes to keep power, even if that
means coordinating all across the country on an unprecedented power grab
to rig the 2026 midterm elections. 

I refuse to allow Trump to strip Americans of their right to choose their
own leaders. I’m counting on those of you reading this email who
understand how important your support is to help me do just that.
