Hi John,

We all continue to mourn the loss of a true leader. Congressman John Lewis dedicated his life to ensure equality for all. Without his persistence and activism, many voters wouldn’t have the right to vote, would be racially discriminated against, and actively suppressed from voting.

As one of the 13 original Freedom Fighters, he led the Selma Marches, became a face and leader of the Civil Rights Movement, and was pivotal in passing the Voting Rights Act of 1965 (which was later stripped by the Supreme Court in 2013).

While we still have a long way to go in ensuring equality for all, we must honor his life’s work and restore the Voting Rights Act.

Will you stand with me and demand the Senate restore the Voting Rights Act? [[link removed]]

I am honored to have known Congressman Lewis and I will continue to honor his legacy by fighting for equal rights. Our next step needs to be restoring the Voting Rights Act. Everyone deserves the right to vote.

Help Congressman Lewis’ legacy live on by demanding the Senate pass the Voting Rights Act. [[link removed]]

Thank you for your continued support,
